The Labradoodles became better known in 1988 when they crossbred Labradors and Standard Poodles in Australia for the Guide Dogs Victoria.  The idea was to find a dog that was less prone to give people allergies as guide dogs, assistance and therapy dogs.

The Labradoodle sock starts with a Bright White background.  Below the cuff this sock opens with "Labradoodle"in bold print.  The Top Dogs start with a Black and Gray or Yellow and Cream Labradoodles. Labradoodles can be any color of Poodle or Labrador or a mix of both.  The colors on this sock include Black, Yellow, Cream, Light Gray, Dark Gray, Chocolate Brown, Caramel, Ruddy Brown, Rose Pink and Green. The Poses are of Sitting on Green grass, Standing waiting for perhaps a ball, Looking up at you for favor or a treat, and two puppies on Green grass looking like "wasn't me!".
